Silver Spring, MD - August 2, 2024 - Huggins & Scott’s Summer Catalog Auction closed Thursday night and the top seller was a 1980 Charlotte O's Police Orange Border Cal Ripken Jr. Minor League Rookie PSA EX-MT+ 6.5 that shattered the previous record, selling for $69,000. Rounding out the top three sales was a 1999 Pokemon French 1st Edition base set factory-sealed booster box that sold for $39,600 followed by a 1935 National Chicle Football #34 Bronko Nagurski PSA VG-EX 4 that sold for $34,800, a new record for the grade.
